We are currently taking bids to replace our current verizon cell phones with more international phones, as we are doing more business overseas we need phones that are compatible with 3g gsm networks. I have a few questions, right now the current leader is TMOBILE with there G2, Galaxy and Blackberry line of phone. I have a few questions. The tmobile rep claims his phones are world phones, but in the US Tmobile uses a non standard GSM frequency. My questions are.
1. Will the samsung galaxy s and Tmobile G2 data roam on international 3g network or it will be stuck on an edge network.
2. Some of us, don't need to use roaming and will prefer to use a local sim card and keep our address books local to us. Will these phones be able to use 3g data or will they also be on the edge network.
