James Cameron's upcoming Avatar 3d movie is going to be huge!!!!! 3D cinemas will become more popular, replacing IMAX. More movies will be shot in 3d.
Matrox Triplehead2Go required a separate hardware purchase on top of the added monitors.I'm honestly wondering why so many of you are caring about this now but didn't give two shits when the matrox setup came out.

With ATi behind it, we'll see more devs taking a look at it.

3D will be hard to implement, eyefinity just isn't my taste either.

after trying 3d vision I can't see how anyone can even compare eyefinity to it when setup properly.
Neither is new tech, but as far as an experience goes, nothing can touch 3d on a projector. Don't get me wrong eyefinity is cool, and would love to see both of them together on 3 projectors, but as far as picking one it's no contest.

I voted for Eyefinity for the simple reason of I don't want to wear the 3d glasses. I already wear prescription glasses - and the 3d glasses on top of my regular pair of glasses just doesn't work. Get back to me when 3d vision doesn't require me to use stupid 3d glasses. Also, I spend most of my time on the computer not playing games. I'd *much* rather have the extra monitors than a 3d effect in game. I'm not saying 3D vision is bad or worse than Eyefinity, just that I don't think its worth the investment for me.
It does work and was designed for that in mind. I wear glasses too and have no issue with it.
Here come the large lcd/plasma screens with 3d!!!!!!
