I don't know if shimmering is the word, but people seem to be using it a lot these days so i figured I might as well.
Today i rendered a short video for my brother's logo concept for this company he works for, and it was 120frames. It rendered no problem and plenty fast, but on playback it was shimmering pretty bad. i have an ATI AIW x800XT on catalyst 5.8.
i know ATI has never been so compatible with anything from Autodesk, but I expected to see better clarity than this for sure.
here is the file so you can see what im talking about:
http://omikron.nuclearfallout.net/test2.avi
so is this a driver problem or what setting do i not have? I had opengl (3dsmax is running on that) on performance and quality and got the same results.
thanks for any help
