its funny i was doing comparitive tests today and i was pretty shocked...

there is no difference in my 3d mark score (in 05 and 06) between having my cpu at 2.2ghz or at 2.8ghz...

i overclocked my video card from 400/1000 to 480/1150 and got an extra 2500 3dmarks in 05. I didnt realise that 3dmark wasnt very cpu orientated...

neways just for comparison i'm getting 8323 in 05 and 4019 in 06 with a 2.8ghz x2 and a 7800gt @ 480/1150...

is this reasonable? i cant check the ORB since i dont internet at home...
 
in '05, look at both the overall score and cpu score

then run it again without closing the program and note the cpu score again.

this is why i do not use 3dmark anymore :D
