i just have a question, i recently ran 3dmark2001 and it only hit 10500 3dmarks. I also ran GLExcess and it only hit 9800. is that normal for my setup? i thought i should be at least way higher or somewhat higher then that? :( any suggestions please let me know (no talk about dumping my system for an intel!)

System -

Chaintech 7NJL4 motherboard NForce 2 Ultra 400
Chaintech GeForce FX 5600 Ultra (400/800) 56.72 Drivers
Barton 2500+ @ 2079mhz (185x11)
Mushkin 512MB Ram (1x)
Windows XP SP1
 
I would have to say that that score is pretty close. Considering a system like yours with a 9800Pro would get about 16,000 marks, you're doing pretty good.
 
well, what's sad is i pulled 9100 on GLExcess and around 9400 on 3D Mark 01 with the old setup which was....

Palomino 2000+ (stock 1.667)

Crucial/Micron PC 2100 (256x2)

and a GeForce 4 MX 440 @ 4x AGP

it ran everything fine, far cry at medium... UT 2K4 with some good detail...

just wondering why it's not that much of a boost with my new setup... :(
