Wasn't sure if this is right or not but the Free version does not run full screen but is cropped to its resolution output. That normal?
 
Does the free version let you run it more than once?

Well I remember one of the recent versions being good for one run then you'd have to remove it completely, then reinstall the trial version to run it again. I wondered if this one was like that.
 
no this one is not like that. you can run the free version as many times as you like, you're just constrained to the settings they give you (1280x1024 etc.)

That was Vantage I think. 3dMark11 you can run the Basic version as often as you like as far as I know.

OP when you say 'cropped', do you mean your monitor display is not full? The Basic resolution of 3dMark11 is 1280x720, so if, like me, you have your monitor set to 1:1 pixel mapping (assuming it's larger than 1280x720) then yes it will appear cropped.
 
I ran the bench like 4 times no problem. Just wierd it was cropped small in the center of a black screen. Also the water scene looked grainy.
 
Installed latest Nvidia driver and it no longer run's cropped. Also went from P5699 toP 6010 on 3dmark with just the driver update.
 
Probably a deliberate change, as 1280x720 looks pretty fugly when scaled up on an enormous screen.

IT had something to do with the driver. The newer driver brought it back full screen. Talked to some other Nvidia guys who noticed the same thing. I never an it with my ATI.
