i used 3dmark03 and ran my bfg 6800 oc 128mb and got the score of 8370 is that a good score? thats on a 2100xp overclocked to a 2200xp cause thats all it can handle with 768ram,pc2700. oh yes i'm a new at this.

pretty decent score for that system...if you can i would invest in some good PC3200, that would probably help alot....

BTW did you unlock the extra pipes and vertex shaders? or OC the card at all?

no i have'nt oc or unlocked the pipes yet. i first need to find out if it was running ok? the problem i'm having is that when i play css i'm getting bad fps,it doesnt matter wheather i put settings on low or high which is whats recommended when i do the stress test it comes out in the 74-77fps. which is making me think of returning this card and going back to my gf3 ti 500 64mb from visiontek which was getting like 102fps with everything on low or off.

if you turn the Vertical Sync off you should get well over 100Fps, on almost any card..

You could try to reinstall the drivers, and download rivatuner, to unlock the extra pipes and shader.

o yeah and the reason u can't overclock ur cpu higher is because ur not running the ram at a lower speed then ur cpu am i correct? 1:1

just unlocked the extra pipes and even tried reinstalling the last driver 66.93 samething no change so tried omega drivers and still about same fps? but did better on 3dmark03 got this time a score of 8863 compare to 8370 that i got last time. this run on 1024x768 res. but i want more fps! oh and also new bios on mb epox 8rda+.
