3dmark03 & 6600gt Question

I've trying to dl 3dmark05, but the dl hangs on a few sites, and when almost complete on one, it said it was done ahead of time and ended up being about half done.

So I've done 3dmark03 a couple times, and my high score is 8255 with the system in my sig. Is that reasonable? I'm hoping to add another 512mb of ram in about a month, but I'm not sure if that will make any difference either. Searched for a "3dmark03 post here" thread, but only found a couple random scores hovering around 7900-8k.

Yours sounds pretty reasonable.

Thanks, good to know. I haven't gotten into overclocking the cpu yet, and I just overclocked the gpu so it won't be at the crappy default speed, so hopefully I have some things to look forward to.
 
Try getting 3DMark05 Build 1.2 at Guru3D.com.
Hopefully that download will actually work.
 
First one i tried :/ I cancelled it the first time because it was going at 40k, but I'll try again now. Hopefully my connection is better.

All results obtained with ForceWare 71.84 on Windows XP Home Edition SP1, Quality mode with the rig in my sig.
 
I usually use Overclockersclub to download benchmarking stuff. Never usually have a problem there.

Andrew, by looking at your sig, you use a 5200RPM HDD as a primary? Just curious, as looking at the other parts, one would think you would have a 7200 RPM :p
