3dMark01 SE score too low?

i ran this on my thinkpad and was wondering if this score was about right. specs in sig and it has Intel Extreme 2 graphics 64MB shared.

ok i changed all the graphics options to the best performance and have performance over visual quality.

1940 3d marks
 
You can't seriously expect any kind of (good) score with integrated graphics.

is this around what it should be? i'm not sure about my graphics driver but it's the one ibm updated it it to.

like i said, i don't care how high the number is. why else would i be posting this if it had no reason? :rolleyes:
 
I don't think there are many here who also have integrated graphics to compare, so I think the best option would be to check Futuremark's ORB.
 
With laptops I imagine they put a minimal video card to control heat and use little power to save battery life. I am sure it will be fine for whatever you do as long as you are not playing any modern games on it.

i dont see why there is such a negative response to this thread. hes not saying hes trying to beat the world record with his video card nor is he claiming its going to game better than a high end card. all hes trying to find out is if his video is on par with itself. there is no point jumping down his throat because its not a 7800 from nvidia or x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x8x from ati.

Anyone who's knows better, is aware that benchmarks ESPECIALLY from 3dmark mean absolute donkey dick.
