I was reading this article about the NV40 or whatever it is
and I decided that it's strange that video card mfg's are making cards simply so they will do well in 3dMark 2001. Now I don't know how good of a benchmark program it is but why should one software program dictate the evolution of the most important computer (and most costly) component.

So tommorrow I cool my 9700 np with an air cooled pelt.
I got's a huge heat sink on it to handle the pelt + chip heat. Anyone have any suggestions on dealing with condensation? I plan on using dielectric grease, silicon, and some neoprene to ensure nothing near the pelt is exposed to air.
