My SMS 2.0 and SMS 3.0 Scores are in the Mid 4500 Range

Her SMS 2.0 and 3.0 Scores are in the 2800 Range.

What is giving me the biggest advantage over hers? Is it the raid on the Harddrives or is it the Extra 2 Gig of Memory. Everything else seems nearly identical as far as speeds.

We are both running the same graphic drivers.

Thanks for any opinions you can offer.
 
To update I think I figured it out. My PCI Bus rate is showing at 16, hers is showing at 2. I dont know how to change this in the bios of a Biostart t550SE if anyone could point me in the right direction. Much thanks.
 
Ya I knew it was a biostar. Just a typing error. All drivers are updated to the most recent. Will continue to search for an answer. Just doesnt seem to be alot of information around and none of the settings that I can find in the bios seem to say anything about effecting the Bus speed.

hmm.. i think in my bios on my biostar the bus speeds were under the intigrated graphics section but mines a 780g motherboard so i have no clue if the bios are anywhere close to the same.. ill keep looking see if i can find a list of all the bios pages for that motherboard..
 
Maybe try clearing the BIOS. Sometimes settings in the BIOS can get corrupted.

Also make sure you have the latest BIOS for that board.

If it still is stuck at 2x after all that, you may want to try swapping the cards and see if it switches to 2x on your motherboard. If so, the video card is bad.
 
After much researching and trying many things I found out it was Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. After uninstalling it, its back to normal. Not sure what the deal is. I do appreciate the help though.
