Hey, I'm new to the forums. I got a Radeon 9600Pro for X-Mas, and I've been benchmarking it. I just wanted to see how my scores compared to others.

Athlon 2000+
256MB Pc2700
120gig 7200RPM, 8MB cache.

Before OC - 2911.
OC 480/660 = 3250
OC 500/675 = 3435.

Should I be higher, lower? also, how much more can I crank out of my 9600Pro and still be stable. Thanks!

Sounds about right. You might try futuremark's "Project Search and Compare" engine. You'll be able to juxt your rig against similar boxes.

I tried that - no systems with my specs got my scores. I hit 3471 today, hitting 510/680. Now on to my Cpu... =)

I got 3978 on my system with the default settings in 3DMark03. Mine seems a lot higher even though you have higher overclocks (not bragging). At stock my scores were the same as yours (about 3200-3400).

BooyaAchieved, may be that's cos your CPU is a lot faster than his Athlon 2000+

got 3394 with the system in my sig, the cpu is running at 2.1ghz cos the ram cant handle a 400mhz fsb- had to back it off a bit. My graphics card is running stock timings (400/600), havent tried overclocking it yet, but im sure i can improve that score a bit.
Was quite pleased with that though :)

my highest has been 4334 just a few minutes ago.

specs:

11.5x205fsb 1800+
512mb pc2700 cas2
9600pro --> 540/355
