Pentium 3 500Mhz
256mb ram ( 2x128mb ) PC100 SDRAM
10gig 7200 RPM SCSI hard drive
GeForce4 MX440se 64mb PCI
Windows 98se

Those are the system specs i ran 3dmark 2001se on. Im not sure if its normal that i can't even reach 2000 points on 2001se. I even overclocked the card to (300/410) using rivatuner. Im using the latest Det drivers. Tell me is this normal or something is seriously WRONG!

Also i wanted to ask if on this older system does dual channel ram exist? its not DDR its SDRAM PC100 i would think not.

EDIT: Also during the benchmark it skipped like 4 or 5 tests....like the multitexture bumpmapping i think and some other sharder test...it didn't even run the nature test....YES AA/AF is OFF and i removed spyware ....the harddrive is clean i just finished formatting the drive.

Thats about right, my PII 500 (OC) benched about 1050 with a GeForce 2 Mx 200 and 384 MB of PC133 Ram.

As for skipping tests thats because the video card that you are running is unable to do those types of renderings.

yeh i figured that the gf4 mx440 couldn't render nature test...soo i guess its just about right for this p3 system?

I would say thats pretty damn good for a P3 500, I mean mine runs at the same speed and still has 1k points less then you. Keep it up.
