Hi all,

I am hoping this is the best forum, didnt see any for printers or output.

I have done some goggling and a little basic research, I am hoping to find more.

Does anyone have a good article or link for 3d printing? How to's vocabulary, all the basics.

On the same topic, are there any good sub $500 (preferably sub $300) 3d printers out there? I have this burning need (well want) to get one and explore what they can do.

I know one of the things I will want to do is to print characters from some of the many RPG/Action games I like to play.

I am also interested in pushing the limits of what can be built, the make your own pieces and put them together type work. This would mostly be with public domain or generally available designs, I dont have the cad/mechanical skill set to make my own designs (or maybe I'll find out later I do)
