Pretty much. Neat concept but wouldn't call it a 3d printed chassis. Not much of that is 3d printed. Maybe the clamps and transitions, but that is primarily carbon rod which is not printed.
Not at all honestly. Cool brackets but really not that impressive from a diy standpoint. Not [H] enough.Pretty much. Neat concept but wouldn't call it a 3d printed chassis.
Cool project, but overall, it looks similar to the TT900 that I used a few years ago, except for the corner braces, which seem much more substantial/industrial than TT's methodI expected something more along the lines of the enclosure im making for my Mars 3 printer with printed extrusions:

Me either, but can carbon fiber tubes be printed ?Pretty much. Neat concept but wouldn't call it a 3d printed chassis.
yes but they wont look like that(weaved)Me either, but can carbon fiber tubes be printed ?
You can print carbon fiber material, it will not have a carbon fiber pattern, and will not be as strong functionally as real traditional carbon fiber.Me either, but can carbon fiber tubes be printed ?
Yes. That the redditor 3d printing community then claps like seals to.so this is really just 3d printed brackoots to make a frame?
bummer..... I had already been thinkin up some cool stuff to do with them, but I would have needed the strength of CF to make them practical... oh wellYou can print carbon fiber material, it will not have a carbon fiber pattern, and will not be as strong functionally as real traditional carbon fiber.
Nah, if I can't print it myself, I'll just make do with other stuffGotta send your design to get CF Forged.![]()
