3D mockups in maya

trying to model a case mod i wanna make in maya. thing is, i'm having a hard time finsing accurate dimentions for the parts i want. is there a site that has listed parts already made up for use in maya? i've seen case fan mockups in sketch-up, but i'm not using that.

I don't use Maya, but it seems to me you should be able to convert the SketchUp files for importing into Maya...

Doesn't Inventor import DWG and/or 3DS files?

I don't know of any Inventor specific libraries, but you could always convert the SketchUp files referenced above...

maya wasn't really meant for precise dimensioning like a proper mechanical CAD.

yeah, well, that's what i have and it's what i'm learning. trying to pick up a few instructional videos on solid modeling with NURBS.
