I was going to spend some cash on a 3D TV and then decided against it when I demoed the products in-store. 3D is awesome but I didn't like the effect when you can see the edge of the screen. I have since decided to save up for a 3D Projector, and yes they do exist. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience gaming on a projector, using 3d on a projector, or anything else. I'm also curious if 2560p projectors exist, and if passive 3D would be a better choice since active shutter tends to look choppy to me.
 
You say "and yes they do exist" assuming no one has heard of one.

And then asks if anyone has used one?
 
I was told that they didn't exist, then saw some on Amazon. Just curious as to how they perform and if anyone here has used one, despite them not being common.
 
I was going to drop 10k on a passive 3D projector, key word being "was." I'm not saying 30k isn't a lot of money, but how many guys spend 100k on a car to do 60MPH on the highway? Just saying.
