3D AMD vs NVIDIA image quality

I want to upgrade to 120hz display, and since it will be sometimes used for 3D, got a question about the competitive solutions image quality.

On other hand we have one of Samsung 3D 120hz panels with 6970 for proper 3d, with TriDef software, on other hand there is, lets say Asus display with my 570 (and no, money ain't issue, I oculd easily trade in my 570 for 6970).

So, will there be any differences in image quality in 3D between "native 3d support" from 3D Vision and TriDef forced 3D on AMD solution?
 
Things are improving, and I think the open-standard approach is ultimately the way forward, but for the time being, AMD's open-standard 3D is pretty universally inferior to nvidia's 3D vision. If you're really set on 3D, I'd go with nvidia. The fact you already have a geforce makes that decision a lot easier.
