Hi,

I have a question regarding to the 3com switches. I have a couple of 3com (2952-sfp) switches with firmware 5.20 Release 1101P10 and I want to update the firmware but I can not find it. Is there a newer version available? I also have a couple of 1810 and 1910 switches. Do I need to upgrade the 3com switch with a firmware version of 1910?

Thanks for your reply. There are some things not clear to me yet. Is it possible that I just install this version on the 3com switch without loosing the configuration or breaking it?

I maintain a lot of HP equipment and I've never had a firmware update break a config. You can always do a "show run" and backup your entire config to notepad.
