I finally found a sweet 3930k. It runs at 4.6MHz on air. I installed a Corsair H100 cooler on it and it runs 4.8MHz With 1.34v in bios.

Now I just cannot get it to run prime95 at 4.9 I am up to 1.375v in bios and temps are hitting low 70c range for 30 mins or so before BSOD. I have not tried changing any other voltage settings yet. Load line calibration is set to High. This system is on a open bench. RIVF is running latest bios. I could use some help with what other settings I might try.

if you are on fixed voltage, set CPU current capability to at least 130%, LLC to extreme, Power phase control to extreme or Asus Optimized, Enable CPU Spread Spectrum..

on a side note most 3930K require 1.4v for 4.8ghz.. that being said, you still can bump a bit your vcore.. for 24/7 1.4V its still safe.. remember you are on just an h100i, temps are great for that cooler, and 4.8ghz aren't bad for 24/7..

What do you mean fixed voltage?

hm?.. i mean fixed voltage or fixed Vcore or Manual CPU Voltage thats the same.. you have 2 options, manual (fixed) voltage or Offset.. most people like to use Offset voltage for 24/7 in order to prolong the life of the CPU.. but are hard to find a really good offset voltage setup for such high speeds. however i saw some friend who was able to reach 5GHZ stable with Offsetvoltage in a fully custom water loop without too much issue..
