I have a visiontek 3870 card, i don't remember what temps it was at cause my PC's been down cause of my Mobo RMA...

but I was wondering what kind of temps you guys got with these.

asking mainly cause visiontek cards have this crappy stock cooler that doesn't blow any air out the back of the case, it goes out the vents in the top (or bottom of case) of the card.
I'm thinking this causes higher temps, so i'm wondering what temps you guys get with the ATI Reference Stock Cooler, as in this cards cooler:

My cooler looks like this:

With fixed 50% fan speed in rivatuner:

40-45C idle

70-75C load

Oh it's VisionTek 3870 with the ATI stock cooler, exact one you wanted to know about :)

I have this Asus card and I idle at 38 and load at 61 in Oblivion and BF2. It seems to be a fantastic cooler.

MSI 3870 with ati tool fixed fan at 55%:

Idle: 38-39

Load: 58-61

Plays Battlefield 2142 all day long.

My Club3D 3870 is with stock BIOS (again), here the temps:

idle: ~56c
load: ~80-90c
