I just got a new Asus 3870 and it seems to artifact while flying in Battlefield 2. Occasionally, I see black squares pop up. I am using 8.2.

Anyone else notice this?
 
I was hoping to find someone who had the same problem as I did.


I was never able to find a solution. I bought an HD 2900 Pro 512-bit when the Egg had them for dirt cheap. It's an outstanding card....No problems in BF2.

If you play a lot of BF2 as I do....you'll wanna RMA as soon as possible. I tried everything I could think of, including buying a new power supply, to fix it...but I couldn't.

Oh ya, I remember that thread. My artifacts just aren't nearly as prevalent as with the old drivers. I am kind of wondering what the deal is. Maybe I will just call ATI and bitch at them.
 
Yeah let Ati know about it. Tell them you know of others who are having the same issue.

Maybe they will address it in future driver updates.
