hey guys, just got a powercolor 3850 OC Edition: running it at 670/950

playing gears of war, max settings at 3850 cause some jerky game play,

is this supposed to be how this card performs?

or shld i sell this and get a 3870?

At max settings (especially with any form of AA on) you're really pushing that card. I would have gone with the 3870 or the 8800GT.

should have gotten a 3850 with an extra 256... i just picked up the HIS 3850 Turbo with 512gddr3... should be about on par with the 3870 after OCing, which they are fairly decent at.

as posted above, if you're running with this high of a res and AA on, it's probably the 256mb version of the card that's limiting you. the 512mb seems to do much better

the oc edition is a 512mb version card..

the funny thing is, its more jerky than when i was using a x1900xt 512mb
