360 wireless controller wont connect?

any steps for troubleshooting this crap?

i hit the connect botton on the front and the light just keep spinning round and round... then the lights just blink on and off...

the other controller i have works perfectly. wtf?

any ideas or help would be awesome.
 
sounds like your battery is dead. swap the batteries in the controllers to confirm.
 
IIRC you have to

A. Hit the button on the 360 front bezel then...
B. Hold down the guide button the controller of choice.

Its a 2 part deal.
 
Read the booklet that came with it.

I had the same problem. Lights just going in circles.

My 6 year old son took the controller out of my hands and said "here dad, like this...." and he was done, connected up. Not a clue how he did it..... LOL.

I think its the order your pushing the buttons.
 
Push the connect button on the console then push the little connect button on the controller. Its by the triggers on the front of the controller.

thats what i did with the first controller. ill give it another go..
