I have the MS adapter. It works ok.
What I WISH I would have done is got this:

It would have cost $80 more, but it is 802.11N, and it's more than an adapter.
It is kind of a reverse-router. It sits in your entertainment system, or whatever, and provides 4 ethernet ports to go to whatever devices you want. It then provides the wireless link to the main router for ALL of those devices at the same time.
I just still can't believe that MS charges $100 for that mediocre adapter.
