360 USB Storage?

Looks like great news -- it's not a replacement for HDD's, but it might explain why it's really hard to find a 360 Memory Unit these days...

It sure would make bringing your profile/saved game to a friends house easier.

I guess this coupled with the "slim" mobo that we are seeing missing memory card slots makes sense...

I got all excited when I read the headline, then read that the storage cap is 16GB and that users are limited to only two drives per console. WTF, can one even find that small an external hard drive these days?

Pretty sure they intend people to use thumb drives with that size limit.

I thought of that a few minutes after posting. I am so stuck on the idea of adding additional massive storage with a USB HD that the thumb drive thing didn't even register to me.

In any case, weak. At least now we know that future 360s won't be carrying memory card slots.
