anyone using a mouse and keyboard with the 360? how easy is it? what games work?

dont think a good solution exists...I wish they would hurry up and do something though since I am getting sick of sucking ass with FPS with a controller

agreed. i tried my kbm combo on a friend of mines. keyboard worked fine...mouse didnt at all and you couldnt map any keys in game so basically all you could do was type...and navigate the dashboard. i would probably own a next gen console if i could use a keyboard and mouse..im sure i could do somewhat better at some FPS's too, but alas ill have to do with out it.

MS has repeatedly said that they won't support mouse/keyboard controls with the 360. Right now they only work for typing. I dunno if a mouse does anything at all.

Why would you need the option of using a dualshock controller on a 360? same button placement essentially so why even bother?

Umm... that's just one of the features. I believe it's mainly for those that want to attempt KB/M on the 360.

I'm well aware but why offer that in the product i mean it seems like a waste to even have it on there.

Simply because it's a selling point. You can also use other ps2 peripherals on there like DDR mats and guitars.

Because the 360's d-pad is completely worthless. For any fighting game or game that uses the d-pad as the primary control means, the PS2/PS3 pad is superior.
The button layout's the same, but the analog/d-pad layout isn't.
For the 360 versions of Street Fighter, Mortalk Kombat, and DOA, you're better off even learning to play with the clunky analog stick rather than the d-pad.

another reason is to save yourself money on controllers if you own several systems. granted those who drop a grand on xbox+ps3 rarely hurt for cash for controllers....still...

My thoughts exactly.

If you wanted to use a mouse and keyboard you could've just bought a good gaming PC. I used to solely play PC first-person shooter games and the transition to a controller is hard, takes a lot to get used to.
