I bought one of these external drives so I could have an external drive for netbooks (I bought it for $15 sooooo pretty good), anyway I was wondering if it would be possible to put a DVD-R drive in there so I could burn stuff with the drive too or am I asking too much?

Anyone know if it has been done?
 
You're asking too much.

The drive in these uses an IDE CD-ROM port almost always found on laptops, but it is a desktop sized drive.
