Hey guys, I have a 3500+ @ 2.8GHz (255FSB x 11 Multi) w/ OCZ 3200VX @ 2-2-2-5 (3.2V) w/ custom Danger Den liquid cooling.

My question is what is a good voltage for my OC for daily use. I'm @ 1.696V right now and that seems to be fine (I think 1.525 w/ 113% over). Anyway anyone have experience of know what that max for daily use is let me know. Thanks in advance.

I'm not entirely positive but I'd think that's the highest you'd want to go for everyday use. I'd feel more confortable at 1.65v myself, but that's just me....the main part is that it stays below 60C, but voltage will decrease the lifespan of your CPU....how much depends on the CPU itself as that's not an exact science.

Well my CPU temp is 28C idle and never breaks 38C load. So that is a good thing, just a reminder I dont want to keep this CPU for more then 8 months anyway.

i'm assuming it's a newcastle, not winchester?
with water cooling, i'd say you're good for 1.7v, but don't go too much higher.
tsuehpsyde is right though.. i'd say i do some pretty extreme things to my hardware, but giving more than 1.6v on air isn't something i like doing, even though load temps never go over 45-50c
