whats this? i see it in my mobo but have no clue what it is. should i turn it on or off? default is off i believe

also do i need to turn s.m.a.r.t. for anything or is it ok to leave it off
 
Both should be on.

SMART, as you know, lets you know (sometimes) ahead of a hard drive failure that something is wrong...

32-bit I/O means faster! Most drivers in the OS enable this anyways, but hey, there's no harm in turning it on.
