Alright I've already been around the forums looking for similar problems, hell theres a post right on the main forum page asking the same thing I am basically but I figured I'd make a new thread since its some-what of a different problem.
I have a A64 3200+ 939 Winchester and an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo with Corsiar XMS PC4000 (1 Gig) and this damn thing wont overclock for anything. Whenever i raise the CPU speed above 220 it automatically sets the RAM divider to like CPU/15 and runs it at 150mhz (memory), and when I manually set the Max Memory Overclock to ddr500 it posts and loads windows with the ram @ 250mhz and the cpu @ 2.5ghz but when I try to play games the screen tears really bad basically making it unplayable, also framerates go down significantly. I've tried setting the Max memory overclock to different things but it locks my CPU overclocking options such as voltages, and multiplier. Im using the latest bios revision 1005-003 and I have tried all the others and none seem to help my problem. I've read several reviews of my board and they all were able to overclock their cpu's and ram successfully. Any idea's of what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
