3007wfp back light isssues fixed???

i have owned a 3007 a00 and a01 way back in jan/feb... i went through 3 before i got a full refund

this was because of back light uniformity issues... right side of screen was noticeably brighter than the left...

are the new ones you people have fixed????? im planning on buying another one as the price is dropping a lot now

also.. what REV do you people have.. can you post and state WHEN it was bought?

I haven't been keeping up on the 3007 but I have no heard about any major revisions at all, so I'd doubt it... Though i dont think everyone has backlight issues, so maybe you should just keep trying until you get a decent one :)
 
come on!! there must be some 3007 owners who can comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Backlight issues here but they mostly go away after 10 min. Bought it about 2 months ago.
 
i get some backlight as well, but i only notice them when the room is completely dark and i have the screen with black background. for some reason, i do not notice this when playing any games with dark surroundings. other than that im satisfied with everything else. nothings perfect bro, this thing kicks a$$ compared to any lcd i have seen and used.
 
I do not believe the problem has been fixed. However, I'm not sure how long you had yours previous, but the 3007 takes several days of use to really bed in. After that, there's still a difference, left to right, but in my opinion it's acceptable - in short, it;s not enough that you notice it unless you are actively looking for it.

i had it for quite a while... about 1 week each one...

all the same shite

oh well... it was $500 off lately with a coupon... too good to pass up.. so i bought it anyway

i am kinda obsessive about it...but for 500 bucks i probably can live with it..

3007 is really awesome. The backlight issue is minor (they should fix it though).
