+3000 overlocking

Right now im at 2.4ghz at 1.475 vcore. I tried using the highest vcore my mobo will allow which is 1.55 and prime 95 errored out after like a minute at 2.48ghz. I've read that people get 2.6 easy out of the venices. Could my mobo be holding me back? My sig is what i use right now.

Temps aren't really a problem, i just a got a artic freezer 64. With 1.55 vcore my highest load was 48c. Maybe i got a bad chip .

All CPU's are not created equal.

That means that there is no garuantee that it will OC great. You are hearing that they averagely OC good.

That's still a good OC for a 3000+

Read up on this guide, and it'll show you how to find out exactly how far your CPU will go just by itself. From there you can determine your max OC.
