My vnf4 and 3000+ are having trouble making it over 220 htt. I can boot at 230, but it doesn't get into windows (blah blah blah file corrupted...). I have already updated the bios to the latest revision so I don't think that this is the problem (original vnf4 bios had trouble getting over 220). My PCIE bus is locked at 100, my memory divider is at 166 (5:6), and my ht frequency is at 4x from 5x. Am I doing anything wrong?
 
Check the stickies,but also whats your power situation, PSU and your casa's wiring I mean.

I have some mad local power issues that have plagued durability lately, but luckily no noise, but if you don't have PFC or a good power cleaner (gen 2 monster power etc) that can sometimes cause issues that would act like electromigration.

But the error you referenced usually only occurs when your HDD/controller is on a PCI bus running out of spec, see if theres another menu somewhere that sets PCI bus speed by itself.
 
Right now my hard drive is hooked up to sata port 1. I'll swap it over to 4 and see what happens. I'll post after trying it. At 220htt clockgen sees my pci bus at 33 though so I think the pci lock is working.
 
Tried swapping my hard drive from sata 1 to sata 4. Nothing. Also tried swapping my memory from slots 1/2 to slots 3/4 on the suggestion of someone else with a vnf4 board, but that didn't do anything either. Right now I'm stable at 1:1 @ 225htt with 1.45V cpu and 2.6V memory, but if I put it up to 230htt I can't boot into windows (either bsod or windows file corrupted) and at 240htt the computer doesn't boot at all and I have to reset the cmos. Upping the cpu voltage to 1.6V doesn't change anything.

Anyone have any ideas?
 
It is my understanding that the HTT doesn't like being over 1000 (ie... FSB x 5XHTT).
 
Try to lower to 3x HT, this worked for me. 10 x 240 stupid stable (A643000) and with my MSI Neo (754) I had to lower the settings for my HyperX 3200 cause i populated all 3 slots.
