3000 Barton with a SLK-800 ?

Im thinking about buying a new processor for the rig in my sig. I really dont feel like buying a new mobo, so im trying to get the most bang for my buck. I figure id go for a athlon xp 3000 barton. I didnt want to spend much more then $150. But anyways, im wondering if i will need to buy a heatsink, ive already got a SLK-800 on my 1800 but i dont know if it will keep the 3000 cool. Thanks.

you're HSF will be fine...but if you don't mind my recommendation, get a mobile barton...such as a 2500+ mobile or a 2600+...they are multiplier unlocked and can OC like crazy...they also run at low wattage and low temps...

Thanks for the input, yea ive been out of the overclocking world for a couple months now. I dont know though, i want a stable system, but we will see.
