$300 to spend on upgrade...

my current rig:
x2 3800@ 2.7ghz
1gb crosair dual channel
maxtor 200gb
DFI SLI-D
MSI 7900GTO @ 700/1650

i am not going to upgrade the graphic card until i get a 24 or 30 inch LCD.

since vista is coming soon. i want to get a new hd, my hd is running out of space soon..
should i get a Raptor X 150? or just a normal SATA2 HD?
or sale my rig and upgrade to C2D.
or just save the money for future upgrade(Quad core).

any suggestion? :) thanks a lot!
 
A good compromise with hdds would be to get the seagate 320gb reins suggested, and a 36gb raptor wd360adfd... which would cost you the same price as a single 150gb raptor, but give you more than double the storage space while still having the raptor speed. if you do want to sell your rig, now would be the best time, since you'd still be able to get some good money for it, before the new, cheaper core2duos hit market. personally, i'd go with the hdd compromise.
