dell's 30inch 3007wfp-hc isnt out for single purchase yet

and the hp lp3065 isnt in stock anywhere.....



sigh =/
 
Isn't the Dell HC version going to be, like $400 more expensive?

The main difference I noticed was moderately improved contrast ratio. I do hope that doesn't mean S-PVA.
 
geez, i wish i had your dilemma. You're just waiting for 30 inchers to become available, while some of us are waiting for the money to even consider one.
 
I never really researched the price of a 30" until just now...$1200? Jebus. If I had that much money I'd buy a Dell LCD TV :D 30" is just too big for me.
 
well, i recently ran into some money and got about 2 grand to spend.

i really need the screen real eastate as i trade alot from home

two 20.1 lcds isnt that much room

as far as i know the -hc version will have lower grey to grey times. honestly, it doesnt really matter to me, but hopefully when the -hc version is more widely available, the regular 3007wfp will drop in price by a few bucks. with tax and shipping it was 1340 i think from last night. maybe ill buy a 10% coupon on ebay
 
There is also the Samsung 305t which is supposed to be good....
Calibration results an brightness uniformity information is hard to find on those models.

You should be able to get the HC now - I've been working with a
salesman at Dell Small Business who's given me a firm price on
it. I can't swear that it's shipping until I actually get one, but he's
ready to take the order as soon as the regular version I originally
ordered returns to Dell (they shipped so quickly I couldn't cancel
it in time).
