Dose anyone know how i can extend my desktop over 3 screens
I have a leadtek a400 gefroce 6800 gt 256mb ram
now usaley i use my computer as dvd player (im cheap dont want to buy a standalone dvd player) but ever sins i started to use dual screens, i cannot activat my tv out unless i turn one of them off, is there a way to get around this ????
 
Yup - most cards only have 2 RAMDACs, so it's only physically possible to run 2 displays.

$40 will get you a PCI card (Radeon 7000 or GeForce 4mx - try to match what you've got for your main card) with TV-out.
 
a simple pci graphics card is easily your best option with something like this. and if you get one that does dual, you could have 3 monitors on your desk. Fun stuff.:)
 
With one good pci-e card and one soso pci card. Can we play games with 3 screens with decent FPS. ex: My X800XT-PE+mx400?
 
Do you mean spanning across the three monitors?
occasionally you see flight sims spread across 3 or more monitors, but for most purposes it's not likely to happen.
 
Can you run 3 or 4 monitors on PCI-E based systems with 2 PCI-E x16 slots (e.g. SLI systems or the Ultra-D)? I don't have more than 1 vid card to try it, but that might work if you want more power out of your secondary vid card than something running on the PCI bus.
