on which socket 939 motherboards can you set the memory volt over 3 volts?
i'd rather not have dfi as i would like to skip the pickyness

cheers

I can go up to 3.2v on my EPoX 9NPA+ Ultra :)

thx, but i forgot to say im not looking for sli/crossfire :p

found the epox for a pretty good prize so i guess ill go with that unless someone lets me know :)

just came up with another question, can the epox mobo run dual channel if i use 4x 512mb ram sticks?

yep epox 9npa+ ultra and 9npa+ sli both go to 3.2volts, the dfi lanparty boards also go over 3 and so does the abit an8 sli

abit an8 32x has 3.3v and is one nice board
AN8 32X only has 3.2V.
AN8 V2.0, AN8-V, AN8 Ultra, AN8 SLI have upto 3.55V depending upon BIOS (early are 3.55V later is 3.4V).

i say again im not gonna use SLI as its just a waste of money IMO

anyways... does anyone know how to get over 2.7 volts to the ram on a asus a7n8x-e deluxe???

would need it badly incase i cant get a new mobo/cpu and gpu :(

I would strongly suggest a DFI board. If you set things to auto, you can play with just your ram timings and go from there. The Ultra-D i have is really not very picky at all. I used to have a DFI Infinity NF2 and it was a bit of a nightmare, the Ultra-D, though, is more or less a dream to work with.
