3-pin power sensor?

Yeah, that should be a RPM sensor for the PSU fan, that way the motherboard can report that the fan is running and how fast. Some motherboards have a dedicated header on the motherboard for a PSU fan, others do not and you can just plug it into another regular fan header.

k, so where exaclty would plug it in at though? where the system fan pins are next to the lithium battery?

You can plug it in anywhere, excuding the CPU fan header, or you can leave it unplugged if you don't care to monitor the PSU fan. Usually it's just a single wire, all it carries is the RPM signal.

kthnx, just thought it was kinda wierd for it to say that it must be plugged in to avoid volatage drops  anyways, thnx for the info, and it couldn't have happened at a better time, my PSU just arrived :D
