3 pin missing 3000+ winny

My nephew installed his brand new 3000+ uncorrectly and unfortunately broke 3 pins. The cpu hasnt been used or turned on due to the 3 missing pins. With great soldering skills, this cpu can be use-able. The original manual, heatsink and fan will be included. Everything is inside the retail box.

so it's a 936-pin 3000+? $60 is kinda ridiculous for a A64 in that condition. I know it's frustrating.... even so, $60 is an expensive keychain...
 
If its retail then why not just get it replaced under the factory warrenty?
 
don't believe the warranty covers incorrect instalation. It's kinda like saying after you bought and crashed a car and asking the dealersihp can I have a new one?
 
can i try to rma the cpu and hs, if not ill send it back to ya, if so ill pay you
