Hello,

Think I know the answer to this already, but I three screens, and it's slow and laggy sometimes, not unbearable but annoying.

specs:

3930k
16gb ram
gtx 660 2gb
Samusng 840pro 500gb ssd
samsung 39" HDMI 1080p, about 5 years old from costco (main screen)
W2254 and W2252 LG 23" monitors 2x

I'm going from DVI to DVI for my smaller two LG monitors, could this be what's doing it? When I unplug my monitros and use just the Samsung, it's snappy again.

Anyway around this or new monitors?

Thanks!

slow and laggy? doing what?.. size doesn't matter, resolution it's what truly matter, what resolution are those screens?. DVI/VGA/DP/HDMI shouldn't be any related to that behavior it's strictly speaking of output capabilities.

We need more specs.

Resolution on all monitors?

What are you doing when it lags? What exactly is lagging?

I have 3x 1080p monitors hooked up to a 680 no problems.

Hey sorry, I updated my OP. By laggy I mean when I close an explorer box, it's slow sometimes, or if I drag a box around the screens it has that 30fps feel.

as said above, check refresh rate for every monitor when all are plugged... you shouldn't have any issue in 2D everyday usage..

What resolution and refresh rate do you have each set at?

What OS?

Are all system drivers current?

How full is the HD?
