3 loop system setup advice! plz

This summer im putting together a 3 loop system. Heres the breakdown of the loops, i'm lookin for comments and suggestions. blocks and such are undecided for the most part.

I'm not really looking for parts to pick as the components i will be using are not out yet. (AM2, refresh of gfx cards coming soon)

Can't seem to find a rad that has 1/4 id, 3/8 od fittings that will work with the koolance parts. any help in finding is much appreciated!


I just need to know if the way i broke it down is going to work. I'm going for quiet operation for the most part, but firgured a 120.2 on the cpu should give me some nice cooling results as well.


PS- im pretty set on watercooling the hdd's and ram, saved up money and am only doing it for the "OoOoH" factor, stupid? maybe. but its something i want to do.

Loop 1: (most likely innovatek parts)
cpu block
120.2 rad
pump
res

loop 2:koolance parts
3x hdd coolers (1 raptorX, 2 400gig barracudas)
2x ram coolers (4 gigs of ram)
120.1 rad <----------------------------------will this be sufficient cooling?

loop 3: innovatek maybe? not sure
2x GFX blocks
1x chipset block, (possibly 2, unknown board)
120.2 rad

First things first
You need to go with 3/4 Rad in out
Than you need 2 water manifolds with enough water ports to go to all your water blocks.
I use 2 pumps so as to make sure the system gets plenty of flow to all water blocks.

The 1/2 lines go from your pump to the y block 2nd pump 1/2line to y Block3/4line to manifod from y block to intake water manifold,
3/8 out from manifold to CPU block 3/8 line back to second water manifold
3/8 out from manifold to GPU Block 3/8 line back to second water manifold
1/4 line out to NB block 1/4 line back to second water manifold
1/4 line out to memory blocks 1/4 line back to second manifold
1/4 line out HD 1/4 line back to second water block

From the return manifold run a 3/4 line to rad.in. From rad. out run 3/4 line to second y block from y block run 2 1/2 lines back to the 2 pumps .

Its a lot of work and a lot of lines but when used with a case like the Lian Li V 2000 series it all looks great and you Will maintain good flow to all your water blocks.
 
thanks for the detailed response but i think you misunderstood what my plan was.

I will be running three completely separate and independent loops. I just wanted to know if the rads that i chose would sufficiently dissipate all the heat.
 
So your going to be running 3 pumps to 3 120 fans in 3 seperate loops . So you can run larger tubing on the cpu &gpu blocks thats interesting.
 
loop 1 is fine on a 120.1 rad

im running 4 loop in my system and you dont need any thing bigger for the cpu
 
Since we don't even know what parts your going to be using (as they aren't out yet), it's pretty hard to say what cooling equipment is going to be needed. The new AMD's may run really hot, and require something more than a 120.2 (although i doubt it).

The only thing that looks a little fishy would be the HDD/Ram loop. I don't know that a 120.1 rad is going to have any effect at all in that loop. I know you waid that your doing it more for the "ahhhhh" factor, but you might as well see the benefits if your spending the time/money.
