how does one hook up 3 hard drives? I only can use an IDE cable, and there's only 2 IDE slots on my mobo. Am I stuck with 2 hard drives? (The other IDE slot is for my DVD and CD ROM drives)

You could get an add-in PCI card. Expect to pay about $30 at a store, or $15 online. Other than that... disconnect one optical drive and plug it in there, but that yields slower transfer speeds.

Switch to SATA probably :)
