3 displays on 5750. I'm doing something wrong.

I'm trying to configure 3 displays to run.
1 is going dvi>vga
1 is dvi
1 is hdmi.

is the analog display messing me up?

They're all three different type of displays with different purposes is that the issue?

I try to activate 3 monitors and the ati suite says I have to disable 1 to activate the other...?

dammit. need a displayport? never knew that catch. Guess I should google for 5 seconds before asking for help. sorry to clog the forum.
 
Just to explain, any form of output to VGA/DVI/HDMI requires a signal clock generator, even a displayport-> vga/dvi connection. With the exception of some specialty cards (maybe some workstation ones as well) all current video cards have two generators. An active displayport adapter provides its own. Displayport to displayport does not have this requirement.

So you will either need a monitor with native DP input, or an active DP-> dvi or DP -> vga (all are active) to use a single card 3 display solution.
 
thanks man. I ended up buying an $24 active dp>vga. at least I understand the tech now...so 3 monitors requires a little more than I thought, but still do-able.
