Was looking to upgrade my p4 2.6 to a 3.2C or 3.4C. Was wondering when stores would be getting in the 3.6 and the inevitable price drops of the former two processors to occur?

My UK supplier has all the LGA775 chips in stock right now......tranCendenZ said:Right, but I haven't seen the 3.6ghz in any stores yet, at least not in newegg. I only want a 3.2c or 3.4c and im hoping when the 3.6 is in stock their price will drop.
I don't know. I used to be an IPI (Intel Product Integrator) member but I've changed jobs and they've changed the login. I used to be able to get roadmap details for products and pricing when I logged on to my IPI account - not any more.tranCendenZ said:That stinks How massive are we talking about? Do you think we'll see the 3.4C drop into the $200-$299 price range?
Remember, getting a 800Mhz speed bump comes at the cost of buying the new proc, new mobo, new DDR2, and a new PCI-E video card. Quite pricy for what you get if you ask me.tranCendenZ said:Was looking to upgrade my p4 2.6 to a 3.2C or 3.4C. My badmaxxo said:he just wanted to know when the 3.6ghz processors will appear because he thinks the others will then go down in price (they are already available actually). from what i read he doesn't actually want to get a LGA775 proc, just a faster +cheaper northwood.
