Are there any 3.5" reservoirs? I want to water cool my SG-03 and I think that putting the reservoir in the side panel 3.5" bay would give me more room to have my pump inside the case.

Hmm...thanks for the link. I'll have to investigate this some more. I plan on finding the slimmest 120 radiator I can get, probably the black ice from petra's tech shop. I think I'm going with an apogee cpu water block and some sort of pump from petra's too. The only problem I see is how the pump and reservoir are gonna fit. Do they just "hang" inside the case from all the tubing connecting to it? I've never water cooled before but seriously want to start trying it.

Okay well first off if you are looking for temperature improvement don't get what you are thinking. Here is what you should get:

Swiftech MCR120 QP (or MCR220 QP)
D-Tek Fuzion with Nozzles
Laing DDC3.2 (or Swiftech MCP355, they are the same pump) with petras top

with that setup, the radiator acts as a dual reservoir and radiator, saving space and allowing very easy bleeding. the CPU block is the highest performing block yet (save for the new EK block which has the potential to be better, however an actual review has not been done yet) and the DDC is a very small pump that allows it to be hidden and not be in the way.

Do you think the radiator will fit in the front of my case? It looks like it's a bit longer and might block my second 120mm fan.

hard to tell, every review I have seen hasn't shown very clear pictures of the front of the case. I will keep hunting though

okay I have looked at how this case gets around and I must say it is pretty ingenious. and I do think that it should fit fine with your front 120. however looking at this case has me considering you purchase this unit:

http://www.ncixus.com/products/25710/H20-120-COMPACT/Swiftech/

since your case is so small you will need to make the most of your space, and honestly fitting a pump/rad/res in there is tough business. if you are willing, what I suggested earlier will certainly perform better, but ultimately will be harder to fit in there.

the only problem with mounting a res on the front, is clearance on the sides, blocking off a CM or two on a fan won't hurt it.

and holy cow, 3Dgameman, I didn't even know he was still running. I remember him reviewing Voodoo 2s!

I'll look into that kit some more. I've seen it around just never gave it much consideration.

If noise is not your utmost concern, you could technically get away with a single radiator for that conroe you're running.

At 3200mhz, it is dissipating at most 125w of heat... (Assuming you're using 1.4v to get that far) which is JUST on the cusp of what an MCR120 radiator with a medium speed yate loon can handle. You would be able to overclock to around 3500mhz (with no extra voltage though) and see no appreciable rise in temperatures.

So long as you keep a good flow-rate (the DDC with the nice top and a fuzion would be great for this) you'll be fine.

I plan on upgrading to a quad core soon too. Do you think the parts are up to par with that? I think the kit wouldn't be a good choice then and I should just order the parts listen in his post earlier.

How are you going to just say "ew" and not give any reasoning? Back your dumbass statement up with something so I can understand what's so "ew" about it. I can see that the [H] gave it a good review and so did some other sites.

Ok, I'll back up my dumbass opinion.

If you plan on doing any serious overclocking, or cooling anything other than your cpu overclocked your going to need a bigger radiator.

This thing is the equivalent of buying a dell, and hoping to overclock it and upgrade it.....you cant really do anything if you decide to change your system a lot.....and it doesnt have upgradeability for the future.

But it's also very cheap and would be good for cooling a system with little oc's.....so do whatever you want, but if i were you i would at least get a 2x120mm radiator custom setup.

Yep. And it's external. And it's 150$. You could build a similar setup, for about 100$.

Actually, it would be hard to build a similar setup, as most commercial waterblocks are way better, but a bit more $$.

75$ for a pump, 50$ for a Apogee GT, 35$ for a dual 120mm radiator, tubing, T-line would total about 155$ for a much better setup. Add 20$ for a microres and it's very good already.

For the pump and block, you can buy it used for much cheaper and still be better than this crap Corsair.

The problem is I'm using an SG03, so it's going to be hard to put a 2x120 radiator in there. That's why I looked at the Corsair.

Just change for a 1x120 and it will be ok.

Can a 1x120 handle a quadcore? I plan on swapping out the processor very soon.

Take a picture inside your case please?

Ill tell you what you can fit/where.

EDIT:

You can also use 2x 120mm rad in the same setup....my cousin has his comp setup that way and it works fine.

Really? A 2x120 can fit in the front panel? I'm impressed. I tried measuring it and through it wouldn't work.

I don't know what your deal with me is in general, I'm just trying to help you.

But I didn't mean a 2x120mm radiator, I meant 2 1x120mm radiators.....i thought the space between the 2x 120mm would signify that, sorry for not being clear.

He has 2 SEPERATE 1x120mm radiators http://www.petrastechshop.com/dadenblicext.html, in different places in the case.....and it works fine, hope that helps, I'm done posting in this thread.

Goodluck with your setup.

No deal with you at all. Just though that you meant he had a single 2x120 radiator and was blown away that your cousin was able to do it. But now I understand what you mean. I've been snooping around Petra's for a while, was thinking about going with the regular Black Ice Pro. Does the larger depth help temps significantly?

Now that we've ruled out the Corsair, we're back to square one. I still need a reservoir if I'm going to go the 2 single 120mm radiators lol.

http://www.petrastechshop.com/dadenhipobay.html Out of stock there, but you can find it on danger den website im sure.

I reccomend that, its what my cousin has, and its made for dual cooling setups......

Examples of loop setups:

1st radiator
CPU

2nd radiator
GPU

If your doing NB SB cooling to (My setup to be, also what my cousin uses)

1st loop
CPU/NB

2nd loop
GPU/SB

I wish I had another 5.25" bay. On the left side of my case there is a little section that accommodates a 3.5" bay so I was trying to find something that would fit in there.

Sweet. I'll keep that one in mind. I don't plan on WCing my GPU so this is what I've come up with so far.

2 Black Ice Pro 120s, d-tek fusion cpu block, and Laing DDC3.2 pump.
