3.5 inch bay suggestions

As of right now my 3.5 inch bay is wide open. I am not putting anything in there and have my hard drive sitting there now. I was thinking of getting a piece of plexiglass or something to go over it. I was also thinking of maybe a fan or something, but not sure how I would fit it in there. Maybe some sort of metal grate? What would you do with this space?

Well, there are plenty of things to consider. A space 3 bays high is probably going to be a bit too short to fit an 80mm fan. If you want to put in an internal card reader, that would work fine. In the past, I've used black window screen ($7 for a door-sized sheet at your local Lowes/Home depot), and it actually looks pretty nice and hardly impedes airflow at all.

you could fit a small LCD display there, think a 4" display will fit fine... then hook it up to your video cards tv out and use samurize to show system stats
