Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The difference is ridiculously small. I'd be more inclined to attribute any performance increases to the operating frequency increase, not the stepped-up FSB.
im thikin of upgrading from my 3.4ee to a 3.46ee. i would have to change my mobo. but its so worth it.AHAHAHAHHAHAH jk. yah the difference is like 1 to 2fps second in most games. such a small difference.
The biggest application benchmark improvement was SPECviewperf 8, where the 3.46 was faster by 2.7% on average. In all the other application benches it was 0-1% faster on average. Some individual apps were up to 4% faster.
The improvements in memory performance in synthetic memory benches were 9% at most.
All in all, pretty lame to have to spend so much more money to get a minor improvement over what people are getting with old Socket 478 mobos and P4 3.4EEs using DDR400.
