hey guys, im running an antec neopower 480watt in my rig right now....and today, i was just doing normal internet exploring and gaming when my ASUS probe pops up and says that my 3.3v rail is in the "red zone"..i believe it was running around 2.8v wen it was in the red...i shut her down and powered her back on after a bit and she hasnt hit that red zone yet...right now, the voltage is fluctuating between 3.008 and 2.992...is this stable? and does aynone know what might have caused the great drop in voltage? im running the following:
asus p4p800 deluxe
intel s478 P4 2.8E w/ HT at 3.01
ati radeon 9800pro
1 WD 120gb HDD
1 dvd drive, 1cd drive
and 2 120mm fans in my antec super lanboy
thanks for the help guys

ah...jk guys...it dropped to 2.96 and the probe popped up...i guess this is the max in the red zone...any help?

It is software which is notoriously flakey. Grab a multimeter if you are concerned.

hey there I just posted the exact same thing myself using ASUS Probe as well, only in the last 2 weeks or so its started doing that on my 3.3v line. I dont bother shutting it down when it warns me I just let it keep going and the warning goes away, then pops up every so often as well. Gotta be the program for some reason I suppose as I havent changed anything to the program itself, very weird though
